Ladies and Gentlemen;
DING! Level 80!!!
That is all.

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone, whether you are celebrating in Azeroth or not!
I leave you with this appropriate achievement I earned a few days ago. “Friend or Fowl?: Slay 15 turkeys in 3 minutes.”
BTW, I dinged 78 last night. I think I should be able to pull off The Final Ding by the end of this weekend, unless Apple Pie is the antidote for playing WoW.

So I am a few Ding posts behind… But ever since I hit 75 I was rushing as fast as I could because 77 was so close! And, here I am, 77!
Flying is so nice again. It felt great to stretch out my wings and take flight again.
I promptly took off and flew all around Northrend and picked up my “Explorer” achievement, title, and tabard.
More coming soon, but I have to get to bed now. Nite all.

I finally hit 74 last night.
I was having a really difficult time leveling until yesterday when I was repeating some quests in Dragonblight that I had finished on Beta. Except that, since I did those quests in Beta, they had changed. “Return To Angrathar” is now the damn coolest quest ever (so far). Why? This is why. OMG Cinematic!! And the following quests … amazing. I don’t want to spoil it for anyone who hasn’t done the quest line yet… but OMG, I got to talk to Thrall. Me, a little Night Elf Druid, got to talk to Thrall. (Also got to see Broll Bearmantle, and read up a bit on him while I waited for the Battle of Undercity quest to start up, and holy crap… /druidcrush… I wish I was born with antlers, too! Uh, in game of course.) I just wish stupid Mr. King didn’t mess it all up in the end. I wanted to /cry when he started attacking Thrall. So not cool.
Anyhow, so after all those awesome quests I decided I liked playing Wrath again, after a momentary lapse and thinking that I hated WoW and never wanted to play again because it was boring. I then headed out to Grizzly Hills and did a ton of questing. I think Grizzly Hills is my new favorite zone (so far!) because Dragonblight is soooo ugly and drab looking. I like seeing trees and mountains and all sorts of animals. Makes my druidic self very happy. Then I ran The Nexus for the first time, and that was cool (and gave me a ton of XP, even at 73…) and I topped the DPS charts, and by a lot. That made me feel a ton better about my decision to go feral DPS. Then after Nexus, back to Grizzly Hills and then DING!!!
Then, off to my new favorite city: DALARAN!!!
Dalaran is beautiful. The architecture of the whole city is amazing. The detail they put into each little shop is outstanding. I absolutely love the shop that sells the items for companion pets, including a fetch ball and a snack for them too! The NPC “Breanni” who sells them is named and modeled after the creator of warcraftpets.com. I visited her last night and bought a fetch ball and played a little game with Frosty, my cute little frost wyrm whelp. (If you didn’t know, you can get one of these cuties from purchasing the Collector’s Edition of WotLK.)
I wanted to do more questing, but I spent at least an hour running around Dalaran on my new Armored Brown Bear. Yes, I blew 750 Gold on a mount, but since getting to Northrend only a mere 4 levels ago, I had made well over 1000 G, just on quests and selling quest reward gear. I am now at the level where I have to start actually looking at gear to see if it is better. It’s hard to go from full epics to a mix with some blues, but the gear is a lot better than some of the stuff I had before. It will be a sad day when I have to give up my Antlers for something better.
Anyhow, so that puts my Compantion Pet total to 42, and my Mount total to 52. Hardcore, I know.
(“About” Page updated.)

Quick summary, because I’m playing too much to do anything but play.
The end.

I really need to keep my mouth shut about my guild experiences.
Yesterday was my Fiancé’s birthday. Yesterday I was scheduled to raid Black Temple and kill Illidan. What a dilemma. I decided it would probably be best to not ignore him and go and raid, so we went out to dinner at our favorite Japanese resturaunt, and after he headed off to bed, I decided to log onto WoW really quickly and check in on how the raiding went.
Here’s how it went: RIP Evolution.
Yet again, I log on to a dead guild. And, yet again, the guild people I like decided to make another new guild. So now I am in “paradigm shift“.
I don’t think we are pre-Wrath raiding because, A – Servers are STILL down, and B – Wrath hits in less than 24 hours.
I’ll let you know if this guild pans out into anything.

Achievements are the best thing since sliced bread. At least in the World of Warcraft. I have been blowing all my dailies gold on mounts, and now on non-combat pets.
I updated my “Pets” page to show my work towards the elusive “Stinker”, although I will now be tracking my progress through this website I found called WarcraftPets.com. My Profile can be found, here. I won’t be erasing all the hard work I’ve done on my pets page just yet. I think soon I will show some new shots of my and my favorite little buddies running around Azeroth. (As of 11/10 I have 41 pets)
And, more importantly, I will be updating my “Mounts” page very soon, too. I’m actually a bit overdue. I am now “Leading the Cavalry” with my beautiful Albino Drake. I will have a shot of him up soon, I swear. I’ve just been too busy with raiding.
I have also completed many other achievements, like titles “Kathoid, Guardian of Cenarius” and “Kathoid the Hallowed”, but none of them have as flashy rewards as my Drake.

I’ve been too busy to blog lately, but this time its for a good reason: I’ve been raiding!
In my last post I mentioned the break up of Luminosity and the forming of Evolution. Well Evolution has kept on going full speed ahead as if there was never a Luminosity behind us. In the past week I have seen every T5 and T6 instance other than Sunwell. (Two weeks ago I had never seen anything past Void Reaver.) While I haven’t gotten any T5 or T6 tokens for gear, I have picked up a TON of badges off of the fastest Kara ever, which got me my new DPS gloves, and got a nice DPS trinket off of Zul’jin in Zul’Aman.
Last night we also downed Lady Vashj, which I think may be one of the more fun bosses I’ve seen. Yes, we wiped a few times (we pugged a few non-guildies) but I had a ton of fun, and learned a lot. We tried to down Kael’thas but as that was also a pug, and we were raiding at 3am, so we wiped a lot. I don’t think the fight is that hard, but it is a long fight with many phases. I’m still not entirely sure of what was going on, due to it being 3am, but I know what I’m supposed to be doing. And I learned a lot. And I got to raid with an old friend.
Now tonight is Black Temple to finish off Illidari council once again, and then to the big guy himself, Mr. Illidan. I think after then we are going to head off and finish up on Kael. And who knows, maybe we will go kick some Archimonde butt as well.
A week of a lot of firsts, and a lot of wiping, but DAMN was it fun. I’m really loving this new guild and all these new guildies. I think they like me, too, and I’m pretty sure this time it isn’t 100% because I’m a girl.

Well, as with many things, I have spoken too soon.
That guild I was raving about a day ago decided last night would be a great night to break up. Some stupid drama, as usual, was the culprit. I was there a whole 3 days maybe. Kinda disappointing, but the core raiding members have formed a new guild, “Evolution”, and I was a charter-signer. So I guess that means they like me.
Who knows what that will really mean in the long run though. They want to start raiding again soon, but with a week to go until Wrath, maybe those Illy and Archie kills I have begun to dream about are out of the picture.
